We’re only familiar with Anker portable powerbanks but never knew they also have other devices and accessories until we visited the Case Studio shop (formerly Applewerkz) in Katipunan a couple of weeks back.
This Anker mini Bluetooth speaker is a very small cube measuring only 6cm all around and weighs just 200g.
The mini speaker can connect to your smartphone, tablet and laptop via Bluetooth and it is also compatible with NFC so tap-and-pair is fast and easy. The micro-USB charging port also serves as an auxiliary input (comes with an aux cable) for non-Bluetooth media players.
The speaker is very loud and has really good build quality. We’d say it is even louder than an equivalent X-mini speakers we have tried before. Aside from the power button, it does not have its own volume control and everything is set from the playing device (i.e. smartphone or tablet). The speaker has a 3W driver and passive subwoofer which, considering its relatively small size, can belt out really good sound.
The device charges in around 1.5 hours and can last up to 12 hours of continuous playback on moderate volume setting.
The Anker Mini Bluetooth Speaker retails for Php1,990 and is available in Case Studio Katipunan (#225 Blueridge, beside Banapple). You can also check their FB Page here.
