We recently reviewed the AspectSolar DUO-Flex 2, a portable solar panel charger you can use for your outdoor activities or when in an emergency. One of the options for purchase with it is to have their own battery pack dubbed as the SB-37A.
To start off, the AspectSolar SB-37A looks like your typical battery pack or popularly known as a power bank. It has a 10,000mAh capacity tucked in a rectangular aluminum casing. It’s taller but slimmer than the usual Xiaomi and ASUS power banks.
It’s got an LED strip indicators up front to show how much battery charge are left in its cells.
While the power button is located on the left. You can check out the battery level by single pressing the power button.
All the ports are situated on top — two full-size USB and a micro-USB. And the good news is, all the three ports support quick-charging. This will translate to faster charging of the battery pack and also, faster charging of your mobile devices.
Inside it is a Lithium-ion Polymer cell with, as mentioned earlier, 10,000mAh capacity. The input power to charge the power bank through the micro-USB port is 5V 2.0A. Using the included AC charger, a full charge would take about 8 – 10 hours according to the manufacturer.
The two USB ports support high power output of 5V 2.1A. If your mobile device supports quick charging, it will greatly benefit from the battery pack’s capable ports.
Overall, the build of the battery pack is solid and the support for quick charging is definitely a great feature to have. The Aspect Solar SB-37A battery pack is being sold through Lazada for Php 3,499USD 60INR 5,055EUR 57CNY 434 (link) or avail of the Aspect Solar DUO-Flex2 Pro pack, which includes the battery pack plus the portable solar charger for bundled price of Php 6,990USD 119INR 10,098EUR 113CNY 867 (link).
