Asus is making a lot of stuff nowadays but this would be the first time it’s entering the multimedia speaker category. The Asus uBoom sound-bar speaker series was announced last week.
The first one, an Asus uBoom, is huge and weighs at about 3kg and almost 2 feet long. Total power output is 24watts (rms) and plugs in via USB.
The second one is much smaller at under a foot and weighs about 0.4kg with a power output of just 2.4watts. Both speakers connect via USB 2.0 to a laptop/notebook and also charges it at the same time so there’s no need for a separate power cable.
No details on the price or release date yet.

Will this be like a sub-woofer?
Yeah, it really looks like a car exhaust pipe (pimped cars with boomboom sounds coming out from exhaust pipe).
Also good because (as said) USB lang connected na sya (no need for standard audio jack?).

Gotta hear that first one in the picture. Ok lang ang specs,non-conventional design – I like it. But how much?

Fancied myself as an audiophile of sorts, and a decent set of speakers is a must. From home theater, compo, to PC/laptop.
That 24wRMS model looks (and would surely sound) good. Rather huge at almost-2ft.-long. Priced as fancy, I presume?

The design looks good.
