Belkin’s coffeemaker can connect with your smartphone

Our smartphone has become a centerpiece of lifestyle. It has the ability to connect to our TVs, house lights, watches, fitness trackers, cameras, and even kitchen appliances. Like the Mr. Coffee from Belkin.

The Mr. Coffee 10-Cup Smart Optimal Brew Coffeemaker with WeMo allows you to schedule, monitor and modify your brew straight from your smartphone. And the good thing, it all happens within your Wi-Fi network, no more pesky Bluetooth pairing.

According to Belkin, Mr. Coffee can give you fresh coffee as soon as you get off your bed with its scheduler and the water temperature is “ideal for extracting the most flavor from your coffee grounds.” And when you don’t wish to use your smartphone or the network is down, you can interact with the machine manually through its single button panel.

The Mr. Coffee is being sold for $149.99 (around Php 6,800) through Belkin’s online store . It is compatible with iOS 7.0 or higher and Android 4.0 or higher.
