Cherry Mobile Explorer 2: 12MP wide-angle camera, Android 5.1 Lollipop

Along with the Alpha Prime 5, Cherry Mobile is also showcasing their upcoming action cam – the Cherry Mobile Explorer 2 powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Cherry Mobile calls it the Smart Action Cam as it has its own OS. Cherry Mobile’s Product Manager, Lonson Alejandrino, told us that the concentp is similar to the Samsung Galaxy Camera but in a Go Pro-sized body.

1.3GHz quad-core CPU
1GB RAM
8GB internal storage
microSD up to 64GB
USB OTG Ready
Android 5.1 Lollipop

Exact pricing and availability are yet to be announced but it is expected to arrive in May for under Php7K.
