When I was asked to bring home a Honda Jazz and take it for a spin in the next couple of weeks, I thought I should start creating a car or automotive category.
But then again, I am no car expert. So if ever my review comes out at the end of the month, it should be from a point of view of a regular or newbie driver.
I thought of doing some sort of an unboxing post by wrapping the car in a dozen makeshift balikbayan boxes but decided against it for environmental reasons.
This entry is just a sort of fair warning to my regular readers here that some time in the near future, they might bump into a lousy review of a Honda Jazz in this blog. But hey, cars are like tech toys for the big boys (that’s why this is under the Tech Toys and Gadgets category). My biggest problem so far is finding it a regular and safe parking slot.
Anyway, the photos here are of an Alabaster Silver Honda Jazz 1.3 5-speed AT. This 5-door hatchback costs about Php760,000.
its not an at. its an mt.
hehe… it,s not the car pala ung may problem kun di kayo.. don,t drink and drive kayah…..
it was once that i was so drunk and i and my friend both have the same car Honda jazz, which we bought few days ago together. I was having a major problem in alignment and contacted the company they said that bring it some day and they will fix it. as i and my friend was drunk we accidentally switched the keys and took each others car. few days later my friend told me that he is having the same problem and i told him that my problem is gone. then we realized that our cars were switched and its been more than 20 days.
just park to my garage and report it was stolen. haha. i have a brand new car. YAHOO!!
Nice ride Yuga! I suggest you start an auto/car category. It’s called Fit here in US, test drove a Fit Sport 1.5 na may paddle shifters sa manibela like a Ferrari. It feels like a Mini Cooper, fun to drive! Plus, nothing beats Honda’s reliability..
you can park at southstar bldg per night basis, i think its 50.00 a night.
wow, ayus sir yuga~ yup, its a good thing that car manufacturers wants their cars reviewed in a “newbie perspective”; ang ibang mga potential buyers dn kasi, wlang maxadong idea sa specs ng cars – ang mahalaga is if its dependable and suits every user’s needs =D
Wow! Im a car fan! Hope i can do car reviews from an owners point of view too..
next year i will buy jazz. i will pimp my ride. lol
@tonex, nope, but I get to try the other models afterwards. Prolly the Accord’s next.
Do you get to keep the car, Yuga?
Goodjob! Sir Yuga, you really are the best!
@brianb – I told them that. They say they say they want to get the owner-feeling type of review, not a technical/expert review. I guess they’ve got enough expert car reviewers already they wanna try a car n00b like me. :D
i’m actually in a complex decision of buying a Jazz 1.5
yuggers, dami parking space sa bahay. kahit ung mitsu mo nalang park mo dun. lol!
“I thought of doing some sort of an unboxing post by wrapping the car in a dozen makeshift balikbayan boxes but decided against it for environmental reasons.”
Good decision :D
in Taiwan, we call it Honda Fit, OO, OHO, OPO
Abe probably has a hundred thousand Filipinos reading his blogs or sites he manages or owns, but still it’s strange that they think he can review a car.
The car itself is nothing special in the technological standpoint. It’s not a fuel hybrid and it doesn’t look like they loaded it with GPS and a fancy entertainment system.
tama lang na sa iyo ipa-review ang car na iyan. sikat ka kasi e. papuri at positive comments makukuha mo. kung sikat lang kami katulad mo. tsk, tsk..
next na ipapa-review siguro yacht na or helicopter.
Wow! nice…sir yuga now even reviews cars! amazing! I won’t be surprised if you would be invited to be a writer for one of the local car mags out there!
buti pa yung iba jan, pinapa-review yung mga kotse. eh yung mga gustong maging car reviewer, hindi man lang maka-sakay sa mga kotse. *cough, ME, cough* :P haha…
i’ll be looking forward to the review. and i hope the 1.3L engine will prove to be very economical in city driving.
Hello.
I would like to put a link to your site on my blog roll if you want to do the same for mine. It would be a good way to build up both of our readerships.
thank you.
Tamang tama…may malapit na police station sa pad mo diba?
Teka, kasama ba ang gasoline allowance?
just park it in my house :D
Just park it in front of the Police Station/Fire Station to be safe. LOL!
