Feature: Sony MP-CL1A Mobile Projector

Sony has released its compact laser projector dubbed the MP-CL1A which is very straightforward to use and can be set up in just a few minutes. Let’s take a quick rundown of its features and see how to set it up in this video feature.

Light source: Laser diode (approx. 10,000-hour life)
Output resolution: 1920 x 720
Image projection: 40 inches – 120 inches
Brightness: 32 lumens
Contrast ratio: 80,000 : 1
Weight: 210 grams
Dimensions: 77 x 149.5 x 13mm

You can get up to 2 hours of battery life but it is suggested to have the unit plugged to the wall socket when in use. The built-in battery is also reversible, which means you can use it as a powerbank for your smartphone and other devices.

The Sony pocket projector is available in Sony Concept Stores (there’s one in Glorietta) with a suggested retail price of Php20,999 (more details here ).

    From the video, it doesn’t seem to have keystone correction. That means you’ll have to adjust the angle of the projector. No major hassle or show-stopper, just sayin’
