Firebox iKettle: Water heater with WiFi!

You know that punch line Eat Bulaga hosts use to say during Juan for All, All for Juan segment? Well, the shit sort of got real, and it comes in the form of the Firebox iKettle – a WiFi-enabled water heater that can be wirelessly controlled using a smartphone through a downloadable app.

Apart from slapping a Wi-Fi chip inside the stainless-steel pot’s base, Firebox has also imbued the iKettle with a fancy LED-lit control panel, complete with 5 shiny buttons for easy access to its different heating modes.

You can also configure the iKettle to ask if you want the water to be heated once you’ve woken up or once you came home. Once it detects that the water has reached your desired temperature, the 1.8-liter kettle will also inform you about it through a notification.

The Firebox iKettle is being sold £99.99 each and is slated to be available in time for the holidays. For more info about this fancy water heater, you can head over to the source link below.

The iKettle could message him, “I intentionally burn your kitchen because you are too lazy to keep it clean.”

Yeah. You can afford a 100 pound water heater coz you still drink instant coffee.

Or you could get an ordinary kettle and one of those analog, mechanical timers. Nice eductional physics exercise too, check at what different levels of temperature particular volumes of water will heat/boil at. Then you could put a chart next to the timer.

    Multi-use din, pwede sa sinaing.

      Dude,

At the same elevation (same distance from sea level), all water boils at the same temperature…in Metro Manila (elevation = 0 meters), water boils at 100 degrees Centigrade = 212 degrees Farenheit. Atop Mount Pulag (2922 meters = 9,587 ft), water boils at around 90 degrees Centigrade = 194 degrees Farenheit…so if you will only boil water in your room, just go here – “http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/boiling-points-water-altitude-d_1344.html” and check the graph…it stays constant unless you pressurized your room, or live at a higher elevation
