Gadget Shopping at Amazon.com

Since my uncle will be going home from Texas first week of June, I sent him an email if I could have my stuff at Amazon shipped to their address and add it to their balikbayan box.

I hurriedly went looking for stuff over at Amazon and see how many I could buy with the $200 prize money I got from some contests before. I originally settled for an iPod Nano but since the $200 wasn’t enough (and the fact that new models will be coming out real soon), I picked out some other things:

Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G Router

SanDisk SDSDH-1024-901 1 GB Ultra II Secure Digital Memory Card
SanDisk Ultra II 1 GB Secure Digital Card

Logitech MX1000 Laser Cordless Mouse

Swiss Army Ranger Pocket Knife

Total Price: $190.69 (with free shipping)

My original list was totally different (except for the wireless router) but since Amazon GCs are not accepted by 3rd party vendors, I had to settle with stuff that are sold directly by Amazon.

  1. how about a book for the $9+? Don’t have any title in mind but something about problogging, the future internet or gadgets to come, or some other interesting stuff….

If you haven’t bought the army knife yet, try checking out leatherman multitools. i find them less bulky.. and more useful with PCs/electronics.

    Inggit ako =)

  2. Was looking for books, didn’t see anything I liked. The ones I like I already have.

Just remembered I still have some funds from my Amazon Associates affiliate so I could convert them to GCs later on.

  3. Hey, Good post. I love anything to do with phones and technology etc, so posts like this prove interesting to me. Your site has been bookmarked. Thanks.
