Mighty – let’s you play Spotify without your phone

Love listening to Spotify but don’t want to bring your smartphone with you while running, exercising, or anything extreme? If yes, then you might want to take a look at Mighty, a small dedicated player for Spotify.

Mighty, as the company claims, is the first and only device that plays Spotify music on-the-go. Which means, it has the capability to stream music from Spotify without the need for a mobile device.

It has WiFi, Bluetooth, and 2GB SDRAM Flash Hard Drive. To get your Spotify tunes running, you first need to install the Mighty mobile app on your smartphone, login to Spotify Premium, then make your playlists available for offline play. Instead of downloading the music to your smartphone, it will be stored directly on the Mighty.

Controls are pretty straight forward – play/pause, volume up/down, forward and back. As for battery life. It’s sweat proof, water resistant, and boasts 5 hours of continuous playback and 100 hours of standby time.

Mighty is currently on Kickstarter with a goal of $250,000. As of writing they have received over $75,000 with 28 days to go. If you want to support Mighty, just head to the source link below.
