New Nintendo 2DS design will remind you of the 90’s

Do you still remember your Game Boy Pocket or Game Boy Color with translucent casing? Even the Game Boy Advance inherited the see-through design. Now, Nintendo is bringing it back through the incarnation of Nintendo 2DS.

The new colors of the 2DS are “Crystal Red” and “Crystal Blue” and will be launched with the new Pokemon versions, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, for $99.99 or roughly Php 4,500 starting on November 21st. Local availabity is yet to be determined.

Reminds me of my old GBA that had a similar bluish see-through shell. Loved it so much back then! Damn you Nintendo, making me want to buy a 2DS just for nostalgic purposes. :(
