Everything looks better with a few LED lights on, or at least that’s what Razer thinks when they come up with their new hard mouse mat dubbed as the Firefly.
In their press release, Razer raves about the Firefly’s Chroma lighting feature which gives the mousepad 16.8 million color options for virtually unlimited color customization, as well as a handful of lighting effects to boot such as glow, pulse and wave just to name a few.
To further up the ante, the Razer Firefly’s lighting effects and color can be synced with other Chroma-imbued gaming peripherals like the Deathstalker and DeathAdder.
The downside to all of this, of course, is that users need to plug in the mouse mat to an available USB port to take advantage of its lighting features. And, most importantly, Razer is asking a premium for the Firefly which will be retailed for USD59.99 once it hits the shelves in June.
It should at least have a usb hub for plugging devices on the mouse pad.
The sad thing is, some people are actually going to buy this. :(
More wires.
The next in the lineup, Razer Monitor with Chroma lighting feature which gives the monitor 16.8 million color options for virtually unlimited color customization.
Wait wat. People still gonna buy it tho.
