we also need to consider the apps running on Android. yes they are there but it’s hard to know which ones are safe and not without having a single repository like the App Store.

interesting, interesting. can’t wait for the next “-pads” that will come up next. more choices, yey. i have become addicted surfing on my iphone but getting dissatisfied with the screen size and itunes suck. i think these “-pads” will be the perfect replacement to my netbook, since i rarely use my hp mini now and i usually just browse, read blogs and view pictures on the net. ahhh, the convenience of touch-touch.

I’ll hold off for a couple years until more devices have come out, prices have become more affordable for the common man, and network coverage has improved in the country.
But it’s nice to see that the iPad has seen its first competition.
IC DeaDPiPoL says:
better than ipad on the following terms:
-Flash support
-not being chained to iTunes
-Webcam
-card reader
-not Apple (read: expensive accessories)
Hopefully given it runs Intel Atom, it can support other OS (but sticking with the default OS would be a better choice due to the low flash disk space)
The Teknisyan says:
Nice brand but I think all these slate/tablet that are coming are all riding the Apple Ipad wave!!!
btw… I notice that some of my comments are suddenly disappearing… :(
Jon says:
@Icy – Specs wise, WePad is better than an iPad in many ways, such as the former having USB ports, a card reader etc.
Impressive, but I was hoping that it would have longer battery life. If I were to choose between iPad and this one, of course I’d go for thiss WePad.
unknown3gs says:
please feature Windows phone Kin One and Kin Two =)
Icy says:
Mas maganda ba ang wepad sa ipad? I was about to purchase an ipad here but a computer expert suggests that I’ll just wait for the next generation
francis says:
