Realme is a rapidly evolving brand, and one of its most interesting products is the Realme Watch – another budget smartwatch that is perfect for people who do not want to spend a lot of money on fitness trackers.

The Realme watch goes for a square-shaped design with curved edges that comes in black with a body made out of plastic, a single button on the right as the power button, and a removable 20mm silicone strap. Straps will be available in green, red, and black colors. The clasp mechanism, however, is somehow confusing as you have to fold and push the extra strap underneath.
It looks small while wearing, which is perfect for anyone, and the glossy finish of the device helps it to look more premium. It is supremely light at just 31 grams and at 11.8mm thick, which makes it more comfortable in the wrist.
The bottom bezel is quite big, but thankfully the branding on the bottom bezel is almost invisible. It’s only visible under flashlight or direct sunlight.
Finally, it is noteworthy to know that the Realme Watch has IP68 certification, which makes it perfectly suitable for you to wear while taking a shower or swimming.
What you get is a 1.4-inch with a 320 x 320 touchscreen color display with Gorilla Glass 3. For the touch response, you can notice some lagging when moving through the screen, and sometimes you need to double-tap it to select. This isn’t an always-on display, though the raise to wake gesture is pretty responsive.
The quality of the screen is good for most tasks. Colors are not that punchy, but it’s good enough. Under direct sunlight, the screen is usable outdoors, and you can manually adjust the brightness directly to your watch.
Realme Watch has a comprehensive set of fitness and wellness related features. There are 14 different workout modes, and users can check their daily or weekly workout logs directly on the Watch as well under the Activity Records.
Users can enable continuous heart rate tracking, also have an SPO2 monitor that determines the level of oxygen in the blood, can also track your sleep cycles, reminds you to Drink Water, and once you are inactive, it reminds you to stand up and move. It has breathing exercises listed under ‘meditation’ that can help you relax.
To keep it functional, you must install the Realme Link App and pair up your watch to enable some features like the Camera that you can use as the camera remote, music playback control, watch faces for other designs for display, and notifications that you wanted to enable. The downside here is that it is only available for Android devices.
Moving on to the battery, the Realme watch packs a 160mAh battery and uses a magnetic charger. Realme also claims to offer about seven days of battery life with the heart rate monitor on.
The Realme Watch is certainly more fitness watch than a smartwatch, but for sure, this will be one of the most affordable fitness trackers in the market despite its shortcomings.
