Gone are the days when entrepreneurs have to go the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) office to settle the payment for registering/ renewing their business names, as the agency launched an electronic payment facility as part of the government’s push to boost the business growth in the country.
In the past, business owners can only register/renew their business names online either through the BNRS website or the Philippine Business Registry System (PBRS) site, but they still need to go to the nearest DTI office to pay for the dues.
Through this new initiative, however, entrepreneurs can now process the payment using Globe G-Cash or their BancNet cards. And once the registration is complete, they can also print the downloadable copy of their business name certificate on the websites listed above.
We’re glad that DTI is making an effort to speed up the process of registering a new business. Improvements such as this will definitely improve our country’s place in the global rankings.
This is not new. They have been accepting gcash payment for several years now
