Instagram users will soon be able to share longer videos as the company has announced that it is extending the allowed video length of 15 seconds to a full minute.
Instagram says that the time people spent watching video increased by more than 40 percent in the last 6 months. Increasing the video length will allow users to have more flexibility in creating and watching videos. This is also fair since Instagram has allowed 60-second ads.
In addition, Instagram is also bringing back on iOS the ability to make videos out of multiple clips from your camera roll.
This new change just came after the company announced that it will be dropping the chronological order in its feed in an effort to increase interaction rate.
