This year, we’ve seen a lot of 5G smartphones that are now affordable, with brands like Infinix 38 and Tecno 13 providing budget 5G smartphones 35.

Reckin says:
Curious, why get these expensive pocket WiFi when you can use your phone’s data as internet, and as a WiFi too when enabling local hotspot sharing. Aside from the phone battery draining faster, can’t see any other advantage of pocket WiFi. Having the phone to carry only one is also convenient. Genuinely curious, can answer, thanks!

before the pandemic and this wfh setup came to most of the companies, pocket wifis were affordable but now it’s really expensive like I can buy a phone with that amount already. Too bad Hotspot is not a reliable backup for those working from home since it gets disconnected when it’s idle.

Will you guys making a 2024 version of this and on a budget of maybe less than Php 10k? Thanks!
