Google unveils its latest Pixel feature drop and will be rolling out this month to all Pixel phones other than the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, who have to wait until the end of the month.
Features like support for Night Sight in Snapchat to assist in capturing clearer low-light images and videos.
Additionally, Live Caption for calls will also be available for those who want to take a call but would rather not speak. Google’ AI will create captions of what the person on the other line is saying, and replies can be typed to which will be read out loud on the other end
Gboard now allows converting words into stickers that are built around the exact text being sent. This feature will be gradually rolling out to Pixel users globally. With the latest addition of emoji, emoji kitchen, and custom sticker suggestions while typing
Google also adds Live Translate’s Interpreter mode which has learned more languages that can translate face-to-face conversations with Spanish, Italian, Japanese (beta), and French speakers from the phone. The translater can be brought out for videos, and other media, and will automatically be translated.
Moreover, Pixel has a new battery widget that projects up-to-date statistics regarding the battery as well as connected devices.
In addition, Google adds Direct My Call, and Wait Times to be made available for all smartphones newer than the Pixel 3a, and exclusively for Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, Recorder to transcribe Italia and Spanish, and Assistant Quick Phrases to be made available in Spanish, Italian, and French.
