DOTr: No vaxx, no ride policy lifted under Alert Level 2

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) announced that the “no vaxx, no ride” policy in Metro Manila will be automatically lifted while it is placed under Alert Level 2 starting February 1.

The national government recently announced that Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, and Rizal will be placed under Alert Level 2 starting February 1.

“The no vaxx, no ride policy is not perpetual. This will only be implemented in Metro Manila under Alert Level 3 status and higher,” the DOTR statement read.

To recall, on January 12, 2022, DOTr issued the “no vaxx, no ride” policy in NCR. The enforcement of the policy will be in effect while a COVID-19 Alert Level 3 level or higher remains hoisted in the NCR as to be determined by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF).
