Microsoft has announced the rebrand of the Your Phone app into Phone Link along with a redesigned Windows 11 user interface. The Your Phone experience has been up for three years and has allowed smartphones to gain access to photos and messages on the computer.
Since the rebrand, Microsoft has published through a blog that it will also be upgrading the user interface to match Windows 11.
Since the overhaul, the notification panel has been integrated upfront, while the notifications tab is now pinned to the left-hand side. Meanwhile, the Messages, Photos, Apps, and Calls section has been moved into a navigation bar at the top of the newly named Phone Link.
Phone Link has been made available now in China as a result of a partnership with HONOR. This along with their partnerships with Surface Duo and Samsung has been integrated to improve the overall experience.
The Phone Link is now available, and with following Windows 11 updates, enabling Phone Link via QR code during setup will be made more convenient.
